Townsend sends to North America! A signed copy means more than a poster that I'll probably misplace/bend/wreck.

In seriousness where does it say that Townsend will send a free poster?

I could buy that for you, if you want. It wouldn't be a problem

I'll think about it for a bit. I still have time.

Still trying to find a flight for under $1000. Even my frequent flier miles aren't enough.

Bastards. OK, I've ordered the deluxe from Townsend with the poster because basically Townsend are localish and I'd rather they got the custom. I shall consider my finances re the HMV free single version.

You could just buy the single if you wanted it.

are they selling it separately yet? i've only seen it in a bundle with the album, which is silly and pointless.

unless it's some "exclusive 2nd CD" a la the Townshend deals for PFAYM singles, it is as far as i am aware the single that will be released in November, that The The cover isn't it?

it is, i'd imagine it'll be sold by itself at some point then, i'll just buy that, don't need the whole album!

...maybe the vinyl, though, for endless plain of fortune

I've gone and pre-ordered the HMV deluxe with the single just now.

I'll get the Q one and if I can get enough overtime in the next few months I might treat myself to the super deluxe big box, by which time it'll hopefully come down a bit in price.

I've pre-ordered the three item bundle from Amazon which includes the Polaroids book. Hey! I can always dish out the CD's to younger relatives, Non-Manics aware friends etc. It's all good! And not quite such a dent in the wallet. Take it you only get the lipstick and compact with the £165 Deluxe one!

Amazon have withdrawn the super deluxe boxset from pre-order. It'll probably be re-listed with a picture and a lower price.

To be honest I'm still a bit astounded if the 39CDs only have 1-track each.

Even if they had 2 tracks to "replicate" a traditional 7" single it would be better.

I admit to being curious about the package as it will need to be at least 7" cube, so how will the CDs be contained without them being loose in the box ?

Though The Complete Smiths is only a little bit dearer and that practically gives you everything to set up your own record shop.

I spent so long whining about the PFAYM boxset and I still bought it.

It's inevitable that I will with this one! Despite all the bitching I do, I'm still a sucker for those preacher boys and any old shit they put out
