I still don't really have brain function back and not managed to read this thread properly but I wanted to quickly add a bit of positivity! I had a great time! It may not have been the same atmosphere as Barrowlands but i'm not sure it would be possible to feel the same way at an outdoor gig with an awesome castle causing distraction (as dusk fell it looked simply stunning lit up!)!! I had a bit of a low blood sugar problem losing me some energy but the Duracell bunny in front of me seemed to be going extra well to compensate I can't/shouldn't comment on the sound really - I have mega sensitive hearing these days and everything is too loud! The band gave it their best shot tho, great performance I thought. I am yet to watch it on the iplayer but looking forward to reliving it

I'm not going to hope they tour forever if they start to decline at some point. It's just that I hope they will break up if they ever start to become washed up.

I was shocked when I looked across and he suddenly didn't have any trousers on!!! Then I saw the mini skirt. Then I thought, yeah you should make the most of those legs and show them off

My boyfriend earlier, being mischievous, posted on Facebook how I went to Cardiff for One Direction. My dad has been on to me saying my aunt was wondering how I enjoyed 'those lovely lads'.....

Did they mention Richey Edwards at all? Any images on the screen?

Nicky using a snooker cue as a dildo on Richey was a bit much I thought. Especially for the younger fans to see.

Agreed. Of Walking Abortion was also excellent and I adored the version of Revol that - as Zane Lowe in Peeled Apples radio rip mode would put it - tore everyone's faces off.

Just watched the footage back and I agree the editing was pretty shoddy.. practically every time James moved from the mic they cut to a different camera. Lots of footage of Sean.. Sim will be very pleased Annoyingly my dvd player stopped recording just as the fireworks started .. I was too close to them and was looking forward to watching the spectacle .. plus the guitar smash up at the end i missed.... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
thank the fuck i don't appear anywhere on film tho .. I was worrying about that

I am glad I saw the Bible at two gigs where it didn't feel like the Manics were casting pearls before the swine. The band were amazing, though, it was obvious they were giving it all. But I sincerely hope never to be in such a crowd again. I've never been in a worse one in nearly 20 years of gig-going, including punk gigs and festivals.

Great gig if a little quiet via the PA. Been to louder outdoor gigs.. THB live is what it is. Amazing. Disappointed with the lack of rarities but enjoyed none the less. THB live is a sacred thing and grateful for MSP doing it as a 3 piece.
