Yeah, I've never been remotely tempted to pay a ridiculous amount to see any band. I shouldn't have to and I refuse to be a part of the whole system tbh. It's not like I've never seen the Manics before and I'm sure there will be plenty of other opportunities.

Well done to those who did get tickets though!

This is ridiculous. Those £299 tickets were sold by GIGwigs London. Now they are selling another pair for £499 under a different username.

So gutted I've missed out on this, I had 2 computers and 3 phones trying to get tickets as well!

seriously what's this ticketmaster "Get Me In" all about, how can ticketmaster include themselves in that when the tix on sale are £299?

I'd actually be really interested to see how many people got tickets because it seems to me that one hell of a lot went to people who just want to sell them on. there's already been what 10 on ebay? after half an hour, doesn't sound a lot but when you consider there were probably only 150 200 possibly on sale it's quite a chunk.

It IS Ticketmaster! It's a division of their company... Wouldn't surprise me if the bast*rds reserved half of the tickets for 'get me in' without even being on general sale

chist on a bike, the tickets that were 99p about 5 minutes ago are up to £97 this is just mad!!

One thing i've never understood with ebay... why do people bid so far in advance? It just pushes the price up! Just don't get it?!

The thing is, I'd be happy to pay £100 for a ticket to this event, but to the band, their suppliers,and the venue, not to leeches and touts. I suppose that would exclude a lot of people who can't afford it though, so on the whole I'm not complaining.
