If Kieran is doing more videos for them for Futurology, I wonder if they're going to be linked? The beginning of the next one is the end of this one?

Watched the video.
At first listen, the song isn't bad, just I expected something better. This reminded me kinda of Prljavo Kazalište (a Croatian rock/pop band who started as punks near the end of the 1970's) somehow... Dunno, maybe I'm just weird. I too prefer the other songs they performed live.

The video is a very obvious homage to Run Lola Run.

I'm a little disappointed with the video, but I love the song.

I expected something a little different, but enjoyed the song and video. About time the band has had some good videos!

Looking at the tags off the mp3 form Amazon, it only lists Nicky as the composer. Hmmmm...

Also like the video. Not giving me the strength of reaction AFALC did, but that's probably for the best, being at work and all. Definitely looks like the first in a series.

God that is such a pretentious, embarrassing crock of crap! I didn't expect much, given the fact that I didn't even like Lola Runs 20 years ago when it was all the hype - but this just laughably bad. The outfits of the "actresses" for a start.
1 point out of 10 for the band footage, the only part that didn't make me cringe. Oh, and choosing the future will never lead you to the Manics, the band whose idea of the future is the sounds of the 80s (in a good way) and the aesthetics of 1998 (in a bad way).

I believe there will be another video later this year, as this morning i stumbled across an advert on the German version of Craigslist for a stylist for a Manic Street Preachers video in Berlin, required for filming on September 21st and 2 days prep before that. This was the link: http://berlin.en.craigslist.de/tfr/4371624674.html (Although it appears not to work anymore). Weirdly enough though, it emphasised numerous times the fact that it is going to be a very low budget video apparently?

At the end, the box she opens is full of illegal copies of Futurology and she's busted by the Nicky police.

It's most likely filled with all the leftover copies of I Killed The Zeitgeist, leaving the actress crying for 3 minutes like a child who's just opened a shit christmas present - see, it writes itself! ... or it's a thousand copies of a Miss Europa Disco Dancer single the band had printed then decided not to release
