That is surreal. Am I missing a deeply complex meaning? Or have I succeeded in failing to grasp a simple, obvious meaning? Do these 'music videos' even aim to make sense, bear relation to the music, or have 'meaning'? Ignorant bystander, let me know.

Did quite enjoy it, not the best of their career but I'm glad there's once again some actual effort in a Manics vid. Best vid since TLORN, easily.

My first impression was that there wasn't any one part of it that was particularly bad, but overall it was just a bit less interesting than it could have been. It feels like they didn't make the most of the concept to me.

What a load of utter shit, what cunt had the idea to do it in one long take? A waste of Michael Sheen & Anna Friel, a terrible idea. They do a song that is taylor made for quick cutting, sports montages etc, & then do this. It was a golden opportuinity fucked up again.

I agree sadly. And that was the least convincing snog ever. Neither of them looked to be enjoying it and the band just sat watching them made it seem a bit wrong.
