Back in 1993, I was a big Bon Jovi fan and hated the Manics. I went to the Milton Keynes Bowl to see Bon Jovi, arriving just as MSP had started their set. I remember "Roses In The Hospital" was being performed and I ignored them. Now here we are in 2010, I hate Bon Jovi and love MSP. I kick myself over this, seeing as this gig was the only time I was at a gig MSP were playing, when Richey was around.

I'm another who wanted to go to the Millennium gig, but at the time I didn't know any other MSP fans and didn't want to go to Cardiff alone. Also, my grandad was dying and I knew that had he died whilst I was in Cardiff, I wouldn't have been able to live with myself.

Karen I was at that concert, I went to see the Manics to be honest, I seem to also remember thinking that Billy Idol, blew Bon Jovi away that day...where does the time go!

Missing them in Vancouver in 1999, they postponed cos of James' mum being ill. I then left Van shortly after and was spending my life chucking apples off trees in the orchards of the Okanagan Valley when they returned to play. I was so gutted.

(I was 'thinning' apple trees for a living...making sure the trees produced good fruit...just in case you wondered!)

I kind of regret not seeing them since 1994 but at least I can do something about it.

Don't think I have any regrets. Would have liked to get into them earlier than I did (in 2001) but wouldn't have made any difference as there was never any possibility of seeing them live near where I live.

Not getting a ticket for the Swansea date of the Past Present Future tour. It'd have been my 22nd birthday, and I'd have got to see Wire messing about in his cap and gown.

I remember Billy Idol had an album out at that time, which was not a big seller and was far removed from his 80's output. I remember the response the crowd gave when he launched into "Rebel Yell".

For me, it's definitely the fact that I didn't give them a proper chance when I first heard them. I was in a much younger (obviously) and more aggressive place when I first heard them via Tolerate, and I didn't pay much attention to them.

Had a second bite of the cherry when I first saw the video for Design on late night TV. Loved it, so I went out and bought EMG straight away. Barely gave it a chance as I was still in a blockheaded, angry mindset overall (How I got into ADFL is a minor miracle in itself), didn't get into it and sold it.

My third swing at the Manics was the charm. A guy I used to speak to online was a big fan and constantly championed them. Mentioned my past experience with them and he was a bit dumbfounded I didn't get into EMG... However, he pointed me towards THB. Upon hearing that, I was completely sold on them.

Other than that, might've been nice if I'd gotten into Tolerate first time around and been able to see them the last time they came out here in '99.

I missed the JFPL gig in LA (which is like an hour drive from my flat) because of some stupid high school marching band competition. So stupid....
