Now don't you go forgetting BSP and getting into The Joy Formidable instead!

Keep it on the low low, your sulky demeanour will be damaged.

Tracey, I'm a little guilty, I love them sooo much.

I had intended to check them out before I went. Ah well, will be a nice suprise if I like 'em!

You absolutely will, they're really on top form and they play a noise epic at the end of the set.

If it's a noise epic along the lines of True Adventures (the crazy instrumental bit towards the end) then I should be happy. Not that I'm saying or expecting them to be like BSP or anything!

Anybody getting to Cardiff at 9am with an interest in hunting down comics shops, 2nd hand bookshops and record shops should probably get in touch.

Regards,
Marwood.
In terms of record shops, Kelly's Records on the Market is probably the best - they have a great collection of Manic's singles (mainly from EMG onwards but some from earlier.)

Also if you don't mind a bit of a walk from the station there's a good comic book shop on Salsbury rd in Cathays (I forget what its called) but seems decent

Nice collection but very expensive, I found.

My favourite record shop in Cardiff is D'Vinyls up the Cathays end of City Road. At one point they had quite a lot of Manics vinyl. Absolutely impossible to find anything in there though.

The one on Salisbury Road is Okatuzoku. Does loads of old computer games and some consoles there too which are pretty cool.

What about the capacity for this gig? Is it completely sold out?

Bout 7,000.

No, but I think they'll get more on the door sales than usual being match day and people staying over in Cardiff anyway.
