Now I know why I bought a ticket for two shows.
I missed most of the start of that set through a haze of happy tears. Now I've got that out of the way I can focus on enjoying the music tomorrow.

Well that gig was a bit of a love-in. Completely different atmosphere to the northern gigs. The Holy Bible is starting to feel almost euphoric now, you can see they've relaxed into it.
Also, I happened to be in a particularly lovely bit of crowd, right in front of Nicky. Big ups to the photographer who was clearly a massive fan and struggled to tear himself away from dancing to even take photos! Also, did we all subliminally agree tonight would be sailor suit night?! London definitely wins the outfit wars. If Nicky smashes everything up tomorrow when I'm stuck on Brick Lane at my work's do, I will be most upset... but tonight was ace.

So much better than monday, James was on form tonight, he twiddled and extended solos
. Just enjoy a gig so much more when James isn't in pain.I couldn't tell if he had his vocal chords paralysed to fix the problem, or that was the problem  .and no James was having none of the smash up your instruments idea. lol.

That was incredible. So much better than last night, and last night was pretty great. Got a setlist and my mate got Sean's drumstick. The crowd was pretty lively and the band just seemed so much happier tonight. Wire was constantly doing his usual roaming round the stage and James sounded a lot better. Loved it when James said "come on, we just played the holy bible. Like played intense humming of evil. Get the message" after he heard me shout for condemned to rock n roll. Awesome night.
