I ordered a copy on the day of release. With only 1000 signed copies available and due the time differences around the world the signed copy was sold out when I ordered around 15 hours after the UK release. A few available for those outside of the UK would have been nice. Although small grumble.

I've spent a couple of days with my mum. She lives by herself and we went and threw a few old things out from the sheds. She always says that it will make it easier for "you boys to deal with when I'm gone, as you'll only chuck it out anyway". As I'm single and will remain so, I know that one day all my CD's and books will be chucked out. Even now you can purchase all the Manics CD's for $5 at one of the shops in town. There might be a little bit of a collectors interest in this. But in time my copy will gather dust and fade.

Now that this boxset has been released I'd like the band to move on from forever being anchored to "The Holy Bible". It's an amazing album, but lets look to the future than always looking back.

But...What's the point in always looking back
When all you see is more and more junk.

glad i got the signed, not glad it came out to $130 with shipping to the US.
i guess i was always going to pay over $100 for the vinyl, so now it comes with a box and some useless cd's. it's all good.

Sorry to hear that importing and delivery is so expensive to the US and other overseas places, I bled every time I bought one of those fanciable Japanese thingies... 70 pounds incl. taxes for each double CD (an adorable one!) means it must be love I guess!
In this case, on top of the box and the more or less redundant CDs (JDB remaster though! it'll be LOUD! - almost all b-sides on one CD without having to compile them yourself or buying the Japanese version!), you also get a shiny book with pictures chosen by Wire!
...I've chosen to be excited and looking forward to this - unless myFuck mess with orders again. Or CDs arrive damage due to CD holders being too big. Or packaging disasters. Or whatever this year's disaster of choice will be...

The vinyl wont be loud though, it's just the one record. Why they didn't think to press it to 4 sides I'm not sure - stupid decision
