Are we taking bets on the price? I'm guessing £25.

Other than adding 20 to the title, my only bone of contention with the design is that the image at the top of the Original Mix b-side makes JDB look like a massive disembodied slaphead looking over the other three like Patrick Moore's Gamesmaster. The others are obviously in the Consoletation Zone asking Jamesmaster for cheat codes for Sonic.

Went into my local record shop, asked about which records they were getting in, was told that they'd get about 95% of the records, apart from the ones from Sony cos he didn't have an account with them.

Fucks sake.

Don't bother with The Sound Machine in Reading! Well, just for the THB release, they'll have all the other ones and they're really nice! I'm not schlepping into London to get one, so fuck it. No picture disc for me.

Looking at the picture side of the 12" now it makes me think of a lenticular picture; the image is different depending on the angle you're looking at it.

Looking at the blog for Record Collector in Sheffield: http://rcsheffield.blogspot.co.uk/ . It says they've order the album, along others, but there's no guarantee how many, if any they will get. Plus it will be priced £24.99.

Record Store Day THB Picture Disk

Any idea how much it will cost and which stores it will be available at?

We have this: http://recordstoreday.co.uk/participating-stores.aspx

but I doubt each and every store will have the disk for sale

My local shop here in the US said they pretty much got one of everything. I plan on being there when they open so we'll see about that! I'm going to bet thought The Holy Bible is one they didn't get!

My local Independent store have said its strictly first come, first served. They are "powerless" to stop people picking up as many copies as they want. Their actual words... Don't think I'll bother on that basis

Yeah that seems absurd, as the ones selling the records how can they be powerless to stop people buying more than one?

I'm working I guess I'll have to wait for the 'second hand' feeding frenzy to die down on Ebay and pick one up in a few months time. Gutted. I own nearly their entire discography! Stupid job.

Yeah.. They're not powerless at all. In fact, you'd think it'd be in their interests to ensure that they go out one copy per person as they very easily can, seeing as it's Record Store Day, supposedly designed to encourage people to go to independent record shops... But if they want to discourage people like that and go along with touting, they may regret it.
