I thought that at the arena but they suddenly fill up the place. Maybe all at the bar.

lol it will vacate more after the EMG set

Enjoy people, I would have helped someone out as there are tickets going but I am happy to leave my night in December 2014 in pretty good place, don't want to see them in this way as I know I would not enjoy it.

Barrels aside, hope you enjoy this if you're there, peeps. Not often you get to see a band at the Albert Hall, let alone the Manics.

Christ I hate London crowds, I've seen glaciers with more life in them.

Were the crowd younger? Or mixed?

Mixed, probably older than an average crowd. The EMG set (with the exception of Australia oddly) fell flat with the crowd, you'd swear it was on of their more obscure albums based on the crowd reaction. As someone who's been up since five AM, went to work and travelled from Southampton, I really shouldn't be the only one jumping around.

The band played well (as per usual), the set list didn't differ greatly from previous gigs except with the addition of Show Me the Wonder. Ocean Spray does sound really special acoustic though, glad to see it pop up again.

I was seated in the area right in front if the right hand side of the stage. Ther were two couples in front of me, one went home right after the Editors played and the other seemed of disappeared after the first songs. Everyone stood up pretty much for the whole show from ADFL.
Anyway a really enjoyable night. Songs sounded fantastic. Great having the trumpet as well.
Oh and before I got two my seat Wayne and Naysmith walked past me.

Wanted to get a mug but Apprently they won't have any till tomorrow. But still got a t- shirt and wristband thing.

A great show with welcome outings for songs either seldom played or never played before.

My only gripe was the audience where i was sitting-jeez they needed a boot up the arse sometimes and then there was the numpties who seemed to spend all evening wandering out for a beer or the khazi and blocking the view of those of us who was there for the show !!

Still even that couldnt spoil an ace night

Enjoyed the gig and the venue is spectacular to look at, but my god there were some utter pricks in the crowd. Some smug, poser couple in the midst of a mid-life crisis pushed to the second row as Editors started and spent most the gig feeling each other up and popping out for drinks. Anyone would have thought it was a cocktail bar rather than the front of a gig. Then towards the end a drunk, swaying guy pushed into the woman and the guy immediately turned round and was ready to start a fight like some sort of caveman protecting his woman Security came over and had a word with the poser guy telling him to calm down I think. All of this was during the acoustic section! Who manages to start a fight during a bloody acoustic section?! Just get out of my way so I can enjoy the band please. Then there was some other drunk guy who randomly grabbed my hand whilst I was in the middle of applauding Nicky's intro of James...I had no idea what the guy was doing but I was a bit freaked out as it felt like he was trying to bend my fingers back so I told him to stop and he left me alone. Just what the fuck?! Why can't people just watch the band without being intrusive and rude to those around them?

Anyway...at least the second half was *a bit* different to the tour so far. I actually enjoyed Ocean Spray with the live trumpet and also still loving Roses. I know it's not a rarity, but it just sounds better than it has done in a while. I do wish they would stop playing Feels Like Heaven and end on something other than Tolerate though. Tolerate feels like an anti-climax after You Love Us.
