Not 100% sure, but they re-did some stuff for the Lipstick Traces era, including some messing about with Judge Yrself. The way that vocal is sounds like early 00's Bradders, so maybe it came from those sessions?

Yes, in no way does a 10" x 10" photograph of an album cover, printed onto the album, look cheap and shitty. In no way whatsoever. Where's your fucking quality control? I get the feeling I spent longer typing this email than they did paying attention to the contents of this box set.

Three out of four discs bouncing around and the mount for one of them had come clean off. Vinyl has excellent mastering but the inner sleeve is so rough it has plenty of marks and, my copy at least, is quite noisy. Will be swapping.
Documentary is great and the Nynex gig has been cleaned up nicely, both for audio and video.

They needed to do some editing to fit the Nynex gig on CD but left the mistake in EMG in there anyway. EMG the 12 Inch Mix!

I understand very little about any of the choices they've made for this entire package, including the one to leave Nasmyth high mix of the live CD. Eurgh.

As I said won't be buying, the 10th anniversary package was fine.

Just watched the DVDs. Has quite a few transfer issues. Some blocky artefacts on the live disc and ghosting on the docu.
It was good seeing the extra songs on the live disc but I wish they took out the fan interviews and not added more plus I wish we could have gotten the full version of Elvis... and not half an intro in rehearsal into the live version.

Documentary was well made, it didn't really tell us much more then the previous one except some extra details about playing live. It was basically new interviews with content from the first boxset that they left off (demos etc..) and some TOTP performances. Seeing the TOTP performances makes me wish they at least put them on here.

Slightly confused by the occasional, I presume deliberate, glitchy audio which the odd bit of a phrase repeated in the documentary. Counted three, I think.

The CD cover, ahem, "Artwork" looked magnificently crap today on the shelves of HMV. What were they thinking? It looks like those cheap place-holder things they put up for Pre-orders or when an album is out of stock. In conclusion Eeewww.

Yes, definitely some glitchy audio in the documentary. A lack of quality control surely, as I don't think that kind of thing can be intentional. Could be a glitchy encode of the final edit, or errors that were caused by dodgy disc mastering.

Good to have a fuller version of the Nynex gig, but the transfer is pretty bad. It's years since I've watched the VHS, but are some of the documentary bits missing? Also, is the sound mix the same as the VHS or have they used the audio from the radio broadcast? Whatever it is, it doesn't sound like the time has been taken to make a new mix. JDBs vocals are a bit buried at times.

Overall, I'm wondering if there are grounds to contact the manufacturers to see if they'd consider re-authoring the DVDs and providing replacements, but I imagine there will be too few sales of the boxset to justify the cost of doing that...

Got mine today but haven't opened it and judging by the comments on here maybe I shouldn't.

The audio/video seems out of sync on the ADFL video on the documentary disc. Or has it always been like that?

The cover of the 2 cd digipack of this is a photo of the cd

It's awful!

They really don't do box sets or reissues well, with the exception of the 6 singles from GT boxset which was nice .

Metallica have recently reissued kill em all and ride the lightning and the packages are ao much nicer than this
