I'd love to see it at some point.
Jealous of those who have seen it. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to have made something and not be able to bring it to completion due to rights issues. I hope Elizabeth can get it sorted soon.

the film is brilliant, i'd think. not what you expect to see in a regular band documentary.
to come here and call it "shit" and whatnot, is a bit ignorant and rude. there are obvious reasons why it hasnt been released, and we all know them. i, too, wish that it gets the release it deserves, though its out of the team's hands unfortunately. again, the documentary is excellent. it made my friend, who barely knew the manics, a fan. and as far as i could tell, it was greeted with enthusiasm from everyone. i've seen this twice already, and trust me when i tell you, it's good.

Releasing it now with a big hoorah would just feel weird, considering how 'out of date' it is. Either make it a low-key fan release or save it for the inevitable SATT 10th anniversary release DVD.

It revolves a lot around SATT and what the band were feeling around the time, doesn't it? I know it's incorporated later footage as well and talks about the band's history on the side, but I thought it dealt with the SATT period specifically a fair bit. Might be wrong though of course, I kinda stopped following the project sometime around the triassic period.
