Little baby nothing

I really would like to know if in the remastered new edition, there's the spoken sample before the startin' music in "Little baby nothing"...
I mean the A Streetcar Named Desire intro...

No. I think that appears on the 7" and also the US mix.

It's on the US mix? Didn't realise. It's probably easiest to find on that five track GT promo, and apparently it's on one of the Japanese issues of the album.

Nah, it's not on the US mix or single. It's on a few early cds and cassettes of Generation Terrorists, not sure about the vinyl. The only things as far as I know that it's definitely on every copy of are the promo sampler and the first Japanese issue with A Vision Of Dead Desire on it.

Jesus Christ this dvd is a mixed bag isn't it ? the point at which a fantastic version of Motown which suddenly turns into some ending credits had me in hysterics. I will also now commence deleting any record of Patrick's 'videos' for repeat and nbml from my memory ,those are beyond words. He did direct the India Summer video didn't he? That was Oscar worthy compared to these two

those patrick videos are bloody awful. The ones for SATT were fairly decent and some before that but these two? I know he's family but come ON. Both gave me a headache..

I am so happy.

highlights:
- Marcus demo's, especially Natwest & Born to End (James' singing in Crusifix
- Documentary!! 76 minutes of heaven
- Motown Junk @ band explosion, total fantastic chaos, playing for your life, full stop Rrrrrr....

Btw: at the end of the documentary, did Sean say something like he didn't like GT?
Btw2: this release raises the bar for other re-releases. A new THB documentary in 2014 (not gonna happen)

I fucking love CD2 and have been listening to it loads! CD3 is fun too and 'Spent all Summer' is enjoyable and makes me chuckle lots as, A) it reminds me of the sort of songs I was writing in my first ever band as a teenager - a key title of mine being 'Holiday Girl', written about a holiday romance. and, B) It shows what fragile little flowers MSP really were before they burst into the public eye with that wonderful combo of sensitivity and pure vitriol.

I think I'll only ever listen to GT in the form of these CD2 demos from now on.

the CD2 demos are ace. I was expecting muddy sounding shite that you'd only play once but aside from the live version of Damn Dog there's loads on there I would pick out to play. Spectators of Suicide is a current fave.

In the documentary, they're sitting in their own Faster-studio I guess. We can try to decipher the new song titles on the wall!
