Still good though.
And the repeated screechy sound they're using on Europa is Nicked from this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLcpU2LjgJE Which they've already done once, in more disguised form, on TIHOE.

I'm looking forward to the album, as I love the Minds, but I do think they have a rare nerve.

Notes From The Band Pt.3: 'Let's Go To War'

"Final part of You Love Us/Masses Against The Classes trilogy - Faith No More/Andrew Weatherall’s mix of Peeled Apples - unending desire for conflict within us & society - confronting ourselves - Cate le Bon and H. Hawkline on chorus backing vocals – Album-era PiL guitar line – a message to ourselves, a call to arms - the upper classes have turned rock’n’roll into a career path devoid of any desperation or desire to revolt - let's go down in flames trying - an exercise in tension."

Notes From The Band Pt.4: 'The Next Jet To Leave Moscow'

"The heartbeat of the album. Post punk power pop - Bill Nelson - dragging your past around with you – Cuba, 4 real, old songs etc. - dislocation of your own history, the baggage of having an opinion - Cian Ciaran adds keys & noise."
Ah so that's where Cate le Bon and H. Hawkline come in

Just played "Dreaming A City" for my brother, telling him only that it's an instrumental in advance. His reaction:

"Holy shit, I want to play some Sega now! Good stuff."

Never had them down as Faith No More fans.

At least they're not even pretending to come up with anything new of their own anymore.

Wahh? Doesn't sound anything like it! I swear some people derive more pleasure from finding strained parallels to other records than they do from just sitting back and enjoying an album. It's a piece of pop music - among the few several million pop songs in existence there's bound to be a few with a bit of shared audio similarity! Relax!

I didn't find anything, we were told about it by the band in their notes.

FNM? Oh, how I'd love to hear something akin to King for a Day... Doubt they could ever manage it.

Oh, and since I'll be at Glastonbury from Wednesday, I predict it'll leak then.

I had to listen to the leak of Rewind the Film on a lads stag do in Ibiza last year. Talk about the wrong time and place... helped me get off to sleep though.

BBC Front Row (Radio 4) tonight had very short clips of … Futurology (title track), a taste of Black Square and then later a snippet of The Next Jet to Leave Moscow.
iPlayer stream should be here soonish (UK): http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0477nrt
