Yeah, they still play their most well known songs at their gigs. Weird that.

There's a difference between well-known decent songs and well-known songs piped direct from Nicky's bowels.

See: Kevin Carter.

I'd rather Kevin Carter than You Stole the Sun or Ocean Spray.

Only if the band were shot for real.

You Stole the Sun can live (purely because it reminds me of being 16), but Ocean Spray should be confined to a small dark room along with Kevin Carter and never be allowed to taste freedom again.

Every time someone pays a ridiculous sum of money for a gig ticket, they're just serving to encourage the bastards who take tickets that could have gone to genuine fans at face value in the first place. Touting is morally reprehensible and although I've been in a position where I've not had tickets for a gig (Take That a few years back) and have had just about enough money in my bank to cover the insane price being charged, I've never bought from a tout and I never will. I'd rather miss out. It's only a concert - paying up will only encourage the swines to think they can continue getting away with it. I'd rather miss out than give my hard-earned money to a bastard who's only out for profit.

Yeah, cost money, innit. But it will live on forever in your heart if you let it.

Hope you're just peachy, darlin'. <3 Less of the welcome back, though. It's just a flying visit to make sure there aren't too many Manics fans with a sense of humour. And yay, there aren't! Fun, fun, fun!

Just come on here, found out abt the King Tut's gig, sold out! Just another reason for me to feel totally and utterly dejected. I thought things were going badly earlier this year but now it's even worse. Maybe I'm making my own bad luck but I hoped 2010 would be better than 09 up to now it is worse if anything. SHIT!

Chin up, we're all gutted but it's only a gig at the end of the day, and one I suspect is going to be at least 30 per cent full of corporate wankers anyway.

Say it to yourself ten times daily: it's only a gig, it's only a gig, it's only a gig.
