I think James sounds good on it, the singer on the original version though............................................ ..

This version has more 'feeling'. Nice!

I start to really like the second verse of the song. In fact great but simple lyrics.

I had to search for the original version cause I never knew the band before. but after I heard it I perfer the Manics version and I love the acoustic version of it

Is Nicky playing James' Gretsch White Falcon there? Careful with that Nick! It was a wedding present! At least in this version you don't get the 'saliva caught in throat' sound with the line 'things fall in to place'. (Sorry, wasn't sure the best way to describe that! I get that sometimes where if you are talking alot a build up of phlegm or something changes the pitch of your voice a bit. Until you cough and it goes back to normal! So yeah, I'll shut up now! )
