I disagree. I think all of the futurology tracks have been hit and miss live. EGDM is better live as it appears faster but WMTTB is poor live.

WMTTB is terrible live - it's like Nixon. EGDM is brilliant. LGTW was also good - Futurology is brilliant - it's a bit weak, probably too synth heavy on the album.

My only problem with the studio version of "Futurology" is that the wonderful guitar bend into the chorus is mixed waaaaaaaaay too low.

Only heard the Glastonbury version of Walk Me To The Bridge so far, but that sounded fine to me.

The entire album is mixed like this - it's a pretty shoddy job to be honest. The guitars are low in the mix but all synths, keyboards, shiny bleeps and blurps are very high. It is done on purpose but still...

The main gripe i have so far, is that on all the Futurology studio tracks i have heard so far (apart from Walk Me To The Bridge), is just how over compressed James' voice is. It sounds like he is stood in a phone box, where as, particularly on Europa, his vocals sounded massive live on the UK tour

It's no worse than it was on THB to be honest. There is a slight echo on a lot of the vocals.

Exactly, and I only ever listen to the US mix as it isn't quite as compressed.

One thing you have to say about Dave Eringa, he knows exactly how to make James sound at his best
