I don't think I can check in until 3/4pm so that limits when I can start queueing from for me. I might as well have a good pub meal whilst I'm there as well, seeing as I'll be refusing to pay whatever they're charging for fizzy pop in the arena.

There was definitely more than one entrance being used at the O2 for Lady Gaga last December. We walked passed the queue for one of the other doors (the main set of doors as you walk in) and there were people lined up against the walls, whilst we were queuing round the corner, where the arena is sort of half inside/half outside. It was fucking freezing. That may or may not have also been where I queued for the NME Big Gig in 2008, I really can't remember.

I got a random call from some guy at the O2 just now, he left a voicemail advising that doors are at 6.30, that there is no support, and that they are not sure what time the manics are starting/finishing. He also asked me to call to confirm I still want to attend a week before? And that I'll be told the start/finish times when I call to comfirm my attendance. Why wouldn't I want to go after spending £76 on two tickets? And why should I need to confirm? I called the number he left and it's the 02 disabled ticket line, the number he called on had no answer. Dunno what to make of it really?! Never been asked to confirm my attendance at a gig before lol!

Gah memories of Manchester Nynex gig back in the day... all the poor sods that queued forever outside, and we just mooched around near McDonalds inside and the nice staff on the doors let us in first AND gave us a tip off for which of the inside doors onto the standing bit would open first. Jammy.

I would've definitely expected more than one entrance with a place like that. Some arenas have a designated door on the ticket, reckon they'll do that?

There were letters on my Gaga tickets for the different entrances (if you look at the map on their website, there are entrances A-I: http://www.theo2.co.uk/images/PDF/mi...the-o2-map.pdf), so I would imagine there are for this too. I'll have to check my tickets when I get home.

My ticket (O2 Priority) has an entrance number written on it.

(Can't remember which one.)

I'm going to have to get my ticket from Ebay, as I didn't have the money to get one when they came out. You are right though, touts are c*unts.

The Government really ought to introduce that law to ban the re-sale of tickets at more than 25 per cent their original value.
That, or support Alex Kapranos's 'Punch A Tout In The Face' campaign.
When you meet them in person as well, they're slimey, morally bankrupt cunts.
Far too often do touts use unsold tickets to enter venues and pickpocket people too.
Line them up against a wall and shoot the cunts, or at least teach them a skill so they can at least attempt a real day of honest work. Scum.
