According to the Drowned In Sound review, EGDM contains a 'ferocious guest vocal from German actor Nina Hoff...

Now that's something I'd pay to hear!

How have they managed to make it sound even more like U2?! Not impressed, hopefully the worst track on the album. Could've been on PFAYM.

I liken it to "All That You Can't Leave Behind" era U2 which I happen to adore.

Could somebody talk about between the clock and the bed. I detest Green Gartside but I hope it's going to be salvageable.

I love all the comments from fans saying they don't like some of the new songs or the sounds of certain bits. My girlfriend last night said "What, are these are the fans saying this stuff?" It just made me sad and think the Manics have no Goddamn people singing their praises ever anymore

Whoa mate - I know what you're saying but some of us still love them!!
I have really high hopes for the album and hope they keep going until they're 100 years old

Yeah, sorry, I don't mean it to sound so negative, it just seems like sometimes they can't do anything right from certain comments on here (I know fans can be their toughest critics) and it makes me sad as they're my favourite band and I'll support them through hell or high water.

I love the title track despite some clunky lyrics.

It's my favourite of the songs I've heard so far. Really lovely pop song with an almost summery feel. Gartside's voice suits the song perfectly. Nothing to worry about!
