It may have seemed good at the time, I don't know. But watching it back it was embarrassing. There's no feeling behind it all, James specifically. Just seems bored. Which isn't helped by the fact the vocals pretty much involve him mumbling into the mic.

I thought it was a really good vocal that night! I was swooning away as well, look forward to the Manics being on JH again soon!

He's not bored, he's being cool and sophisticated and saying, yeah turn off if you want to I'm still going to perform this song as it should be performed rather than pretending it's Faster.

I like the rest of the Jools Holland performance, and the LORN vocal! Just not the Jools Holland performace of LORN lol! It's plain boring.

Aw I liked Song For Departure on Later With Jools! (That's another one they need to revive...just do a Lifeblood gig boys, it's not as much of a black sheep as you think) And Bradders was sporting soem cool as fuck stubble
