If in doubt by the Japanese reissues, Lipstick traces and you'll have pretty much everything anyway :-).
no i think the b sides were always going to be added ..its just the description wasn't clear. It've would've been weird to put single track cds in the box.

You can't know that though...could be they've added them based on a very negative reaction.

surely that would delay the release date though? It takes time to set all this up. Plus had it been left as one track i think they would've been the only band in the history of replica vinyl reissues to not include b-sides.

Who knows...depends if they are made yet, if not it's not a big deal to add tracks. Presumably all the relevant tracks exist on some sony computer anyway.

yeah dunno..i'm just thinking of communication in the big machine... sending one thing to the factory then whoops no we've changed our mind ..change it to this.. confusion could ensue and we end up with blank cds

have to go with hummingbird here - there's all sorts of negotiations and agreements in place with regards to royalties, rights and what have you. whereas Sony are big and could "force" the issue, time and again they have shown how little of a fuck they give about consumers (sneaking in Region Code Enhancing on DVD and still trying to use it after the US Government said "fucking stop it", not bothering to mention their network was hacked, blocking their artists videos being seen around the world, etc, etc) and by the ridiculous limitations on where and when you can buy the box set they clearly couldn't care less what's on it.

if the shipping date is 31 October then they could only start pressing say a week or so beforehand, in particular as the only orders they have to fulfill are the ones they have taken. getting everything else in place to change the tracklisting dramatically, however, i don't know - the only thing that says they did change it is that if this is the case then it is a half-hearted one considering the stuff still missing.

bear in mind we only have the Manics' facebook message to go on saying that it will be "CD1 b-sides". and as Nicky won't let the band use the internet, fuck knows who wrote that.

Nicky giving his blessing to a release = deluxe edition.

I don't know what's going on with the running order, but I like the look of the track lengths. Everything has been saved from the chop bar the Love's Sweet Exile and (more criminally) Little Baby Nothing intros.

You Love Us gets its outro left intact, which means they will be FORCED to play it at the O2.
