I'm with you on Autumnsong. It's really quite cringeworthy. Unfortunately I can see the new album sounding like that.

...I like Autumnsong too! Honestly with Manics stuff I guess I'm not too picky...then again I am into them a lot more now than I have been for the past couple years, so maybe I'll build this album up too much and then hate it.

James dressing like 70s Freddie sounds like a right laugh. I adore that period too and again, Queen are my favourite band alongside the Manics, but Freddie was thin as a rake back then and James just...isn't. Sorry

I think 'Lifeblood' is a rather bland title - I'd have much preferred it if they'd called it 'Litany' or 'Blueprint For Exile' as they suggested they might at the time.

Don't like the new title, but then didn't like 'SATT' at the time either. Once it's actually out you get used to it.
