Reminds me of when I first heard Your Love Alone, thought it was good but not spectacular. I now think Your Love Alone is a great song and hearing it live is a truly wonderful thing, so I reckon that It's Not War will go the same way over time. Overall I'm very optimistic about the album.

Alright. 6.5 / 10 for me I reckon. Certainly not a song that an average person will be going "Oh wow have you heard that new song on the radio? It's so good!". Hopefully a cool video will help it out.

After 4 listens I'd say its pretty damn good, like the strings and guitar solo, and is very catchy! Not a bad start for the PFAYM campaign.

Best SINGLE they've released since Tolerate imho.
Absolutely wonderful, uplifting song. They are serious about making a dent in the charts this time. It made my spine tingle to hear James' voice on the radio again, just blows every other singer out of the water...then he cracks a solo that is perfect for the song, again to hear him playing a solo on the radio... Made my day! |

The 'GMTV' theme tune talk interests me.
I really don't know what to expect when I hear it now haha.

Can anyone give me a non-superficial reason why it's good? And this speculation it will rip up the charts is rubbish too, if even the manics fans are only half arsed about it.

Its...well...okay. I like it, but its nothing special IMHO. If it had been released after Send Away the Tigers I think I would like it more, but compared to anything on JFPL it seems too light in all areas.
Still better than most stuff out there, just I have higher expectations of the Manics. |

Well it has to be good if it's better than Autumnsong...and I love Autumnsong.

There people who just have blind faith in the band.
They just love anything that has the manics sticker on it. So can anyone who likes the song, explain why they like it, apart from blind faith. |
