Cool, largest venue since seeing them in Wembley Arena, back in 2004. Wondering if this venue has a good atmosphere (I like large crowds for gigs, so that's not a problem). My 15th gig by the way, but my first in Wales!

I thought that was how much cardiff had sold when Nicky said the other two had sold out. Might've remembered wrong though. Doesnt look as if it would hold much more than that

Aren't you lot getting Suicide Alley aswell on Saturday or will they chicken out?

According to visitcardiff.com it's 7,500.

I doubt they'll do Suicide Alley and to be honest I'm not that fussed. I'd rather hear PCP which was threatened on Twitter I think.

I really hope they do. They need to bring it with this one and give us something special. No Cardiff show since the SATT arena date, Saturday night, match day and home turf... the pressure is on.

Sadly I think that if they were going to do PCP we'd have heard it by now (then again, they only played Marlon JD the once). Plenty of other goodies in these setlists though.

Also if you don't mind a bit of a walk from the station there's a good comic book shop on Salsbury rd in Cathays (I forget what its called) but seems decent

The one on Salisbury Road is Okatuzoku. Does loads of old computer games and some consoles there too which are pretty cool.
Thanks for the info guys! Should keep me busy til checking-in time

Marwood.

Right, off home now to the land of no internet so that I can travel to Cardiff tomorrow. Hoping to meet some of you forum chaps I haven't met yet and looking forward to seeing tour friends again (apart from Franny, he can piss off). I'll be in my Useless Generation jacket for all you Kelly spotters out there.

See you tomorrow.

I will be staying online via the wonders of iPhone, but tomorrow I'll be wearing a dutch officer's peace corps jacket that some lovely person pointed out on the forum recently, and my Batman converse... jeans and t-shirt to be decided at a later point

Regards,
Marwood.

I can't wait. Nic and I are leaving Taunton about 11ish. Really looking forward to this but have heard the weather for queing is not going to be too good! Aww well, used to seeing the Manics, soaking wet, cold and looking a total mess (that is me by the way, not the Manics!!). Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Part of me wants to be down the front again, a bigger part of me really can't be bothered with the whole getting crushed thing and "pickpocket paranoia" (I spent the whole of last night's gig with my wallet and phone in the same pocket and my hand firmly wedged over it so noone could attempt anything without me knowing).

I'll most likely turn up at around 8 and pick the best spot I can.
