Interesting that they're using Rockfield. That place is meant to cost a bomb and I thought the idea of Faster Studios was not having to pay for those kinds of things.

However, this - along with Greg Haver's involvement - does hint that they're going for a deeper, lusher sound they can't get at Faster. Speculation, but perhaps See It Like Sutherland did give a hint at one element after all. And seeing as it's not just me who's been hankering for something sonically more like LB/TIMT, this could be good news.

Yes, but wasn't it supposed to be two years of having a break? They surely haven't done that.

The two year break was only from gigs in Britian I thought, but that they'd work outside and be more creative, and this is apparently the culmination of that

Haver and Massey are a better team than Eringa and Lord-Alge. All bets are off when they turn to Lord-Alge. That fucker.

September
![]() Also pretty sure the "2 year break" thing was only meant to be a break from doing UK gigs and by September it will only be 3 months short of 2 years since the O2 gig. |

They start off talking about the two albums, then halfway through Nicky grabs his old script ('done ten albums', 'all our contemporaries have split up and reformed', 'me and James have known each other since we were 4') and at that point I'm like, he's going to do it, he's going to mention the politics degree. Alas, it was not to be on this occasion. |
