If you have a side pocket in your bag (if you're taking one!) put your camera in there. I always do that, they only usually take one quick look anyway. You may get a security person saying 'No taking of photo's' but you'll be fine once you get inside. I've never had any bother!

they don't give a shit about cameras anymore now that phones have such good ones and they won't confiscate those. As long as it's not an SLR you'll be fine, though some people manage to smuggle those into some venues

To be fair though, you can pick up a pretty decent camera that doesn't have a detachable lens for less than £100 - although you really need to understand the manual settings before getting decent pics out of them.

I took plenty of photos from the front row last time the Manics played there and no one batted an eyelid. Don't think they care as long as you haven't got any professional equipment.

Bloody hell, you don't know how long it takes to get from Birmingham to Wolverhampton on a bus then do you? 20 mins on a train but well over an hour on the 126 bus!!!

Dudley is an hour away on the bus - the only direct route to Wolves on the bus goes via Dudley, so the route is a little skewed! Dudley is around 10 mins on the train, amazingly!!!

Every time I've seen them at the Civic they've been brilliant whereas the Birmingham gigs are just average.
