Somebody's messing about with the track lists again.

Although I must admit, some of the fake ones sound better than the official!

Looks like we have a new tradition: Track 1 as the first single / focus track! (it began with JFPL - Peeled Apples was the first 'single' played off the album).

surely it began with kye, seeing as "found that soul" was the first single, well one of them.

I'm pretty sure KYE was introduced with SWSS, FTS came a bit later, the singles may have been released on the same date but all the radio stations I know (plus MTV) played SWSS before FTS.

No, it was Peeled Apples. Collins was the chosen radio "single", but PA got the honours of being the first taste of the album as Zane Lowe's HOTTAST REKAAWWRD OF THA WAAAAAALRD.

As soon as I heard about the launch, I thought it'd be recorded for release. Many bands release live DVDs along with their albums and there's no point doing a launch if they're not going to play most of the album . . . so I think to get live recordings is the reason why they're doing it. There's probably enough time between the launch and the release date to whip a short edit together of six or seven songs.

I said a bit back they should film the launch gig and put it as a DVD with the new album. Bit weird though cos I read the bonus disc was going to be demos and then live tracks. Now a DVD. What next?

'Get this week’s issue of NME for an interview with Nicky Wire on the new record, available from UK newsstands from Wednesday (July 28)'

Fucking hate buying the NME. Might have to now though....
