World Cup related Manics facts:

The band are already regretting the gospel choir on Postcards From A Young Man and wishing they'd used a vuvzela section instead.

Sean invented the Jabulani ball that is being used in the World Cup. He took an existing ball, and wore the surface down with his crazy drumming skills. At one point he was playing at around 475 bpm. The resulting ball was used as the prototype from which all the other balls were then made.

Nicky was actually the cameraman Wayne Rooney threw his toys at.
In their re-signed contract, one of Nicky's perks is to be a BBC cameraman for every England match in this World Cup.
This explains why they always resign to Sony.
