I think I would have been resigned to not getting one if I'd had the cash, to be honest.

I almost went out this morning to spend £60 on books and records, to cheer myself up.

On the plus side, I was a bit anxious about the possibility of another cold spell in February making travel to Glasgow difficult, and now I don't have to worry about that.

No luck for me either Only the second time i've been on the ball to get tickets for the Manics and not gotten them - so probably not really got a right to complain...

Still gutted though Love Tut's and it would've been so good to see them in such a small venue again.

A huge congrats to those who managed to secure tickets! And to those who weren't so lucky, I feel your pain, but take comfort in knowing that the Manics are still very much an active band who tour fairly regularly in the UK so the chances are great that you'll see the boys soon enough. All the best to those going and especially so for those who aren't!

I say they should host a make-up gig to say sorry to the fans who missed out.

They could hold it in London.

Hell Yeah Dan!

Another ? - What is the highest you would pay for a ticket to this? Mine is £50 tops.

First time they have played as a '3 piece' for yonks.

Yeah, I'm seeing it as a positive that I don't need to make the journey up to Glasgow and have saved two days of annual leave that I can use for something else.

Didn't they play as a three piece last year for the JFPL portion of the gigs?

They haven't done entire gigs as a 3 piece for a long time.

Mind you a 3 piece might still include a man who presses buttons on recordings for songs like ADFL, so don't count on a 1-2-3-4 punk experience just yet.

Also, Kelly, did you get one ticket or 2? Who are you going with?
I've gotten 2 tickets. One for the boyfriend. To be honest I'm not entirely sure how the bloody hell I'm getting up there as of yet. The boyfriend is getting annoyed and wanting me to sell the tickets because I can't think of an idea which doesn't cost over £150 to implement.

I will find a way. Somehow.
