Yeah PRP feels like an album track to me.
But perhaps this means, what with the talk of having 12 songs with no over arching theme, they also haven’t felt pressured to try to write, or find, singles.
Some of you have already said hearing PRP has refreshed, and maybe increased, your interest in DAF and HIPS. Im hopeful the album will feel cohesive if not thematically so necessarily.

I'm loving the differing guitar sounds and Nicky's natural sublime with the lyrics. I'm looking forward to the album, though possibly doesnt need a direct theme.

I like it as a song, not sure about it being picked as a single (will it really get the Radio 2 and Radio X listeners to rush out and buy the album?)

The intro/verse guitar riff sounds a little mid 2000s indie filler and the chorus feels a bit like a continuation of TUVL era, with the guitar solo a nice contrast that somehow works.

I hope they reveal how many songs Nicky is lead vocal on. I totally love his Hiding in Plain Sight song.

Odd song

Lyrically = some great lines

Musically = it sounds really well produced and I like the underlying guitar playing

It's completely forgettable for now, of the 3 songs so far, decline and fall is 6/10, hiding in plain sight 9/10 and this is 5/10. I think they'll work better as an album run

Mixed by Tom Lord-Alge which I think is beneficial to the ‘space’ people are hearing in it.

For now after every play of PRP my head starts mashing it up with Arcade Fire’s ‘City With No Children’ So I’ve had to play The Suburbs in full too!
