Yes, there will be room for both of you. Now I have to tidy up the spare room Tim, you're welcome too, so long as you're OK with the sofa and Annie licking your head.

I'm surprised how many people think £30 is steep. They're still a very popular multiple award winning band who've filled stadiums and arenas, headlined festivals all over Europe, had a couple of number ones and now they're on their 10th album. I think they've done well to keep tickets around the £25 mark for the last 8 or so years. I for one would be willing to pay more.

That said, I'm probably not gonna buy any from the box office and by the time I can afford them the eBay rush ought to have slowed down and I might be able to get them less than face value anyway, have done a couple of times before.

I think it's steep because I have no job, can't borrow money from my parents and have two birthday parties this weekend which would be really rude to skip for the sake of a tour, since I'd already have to not go to an end of exams dinner. I might be able to get someone to buy my ticket for me then pay them back though, fingers crossed!

I'm just worried cause Glasgow was the first to sell out last time round.

Ah, fair enough. I'm proper skint too, but got a summer job lined up. I intend to pick up a pair of gig tickets and train tickets for every week I work

Sorry if it looked like I was singling you out though, read a few comments on the other threads and had a few people tell me it's steep and they're better off than me so I do wonder sometimes.

Well I have an interview tomorrow so hopefully that'll go well, it's more a matter of how quickly the tickets go after that.

Good luck. Wouldn't be surprised to see plenty of tickets going for around about face value on eBay anyway. Last time I got Llandudno tickets for £42 the pair when they were £25 face value, plus the usual booking stuff.

Thanks, Rel! I'm not sure what dates we'll be doing yet, but I appreciate you letting us stay!

I'm not being funny, but I don't know why so many people are getting bent out of shape over the ticket prices. Every Manics tour for the last 8 years has cost the same, regardless of venue size. I appreciate it's not cheap, but I don't understand why people seem to be so surprised by the cost.

Very good reason, indeed. Congrats, btw !

What are the chances of a Belfast/Dublin date being announced?
