If the song was made by anyone else I'd probably like it a lot more (as I've said before I love the guitar, and the verse isn't bad lyrically, at least they look like Manics lyrics!), but it's not. They are capable of doing so much more, and have done before and since. It's not terrible in comparison with all the other shite that's out there, but in comparison with everything else they've done - AAAAAARRRGGGHH THAT line.... Underdogs on the other hand, I LIKE IT. A LOT.
