It's the venue/promoter not the management who can do something about that...and they can only cancel tickets if they can identify who bought them, which is not that easy.

And, indeed, fucking off a punter who's just paid £300 for them is not going to help anyone.

Takk - its been done before, pressure from a band's fans is a big thing, especially when the band actually care about their fans. the fans put the pressure on the band, the band on the management, the management on the venue/promoter, then in turn the ticket agency. It can't be that hard to track down this amount of people of out the 300 tickets. Maybe its pointless, but i have to feel i'm doing something, not just complaining about it.

Maybe. I doubt any of those people are unaware of the problem though. But like I said, it's not that easy to work out who a person selling on any one of those sites is in terms of a ticket sale.

I just think its highly suscpicious how the same sellers with the same avatars from the Paolo Nutini gig had them for the Manics gig on ebay as well.

Maybe they work at the venue, or have a contact that does

so do we have any idea how many of the '300' tickets were really available in the first place?

Do you know what details he used for tickets? Maybe some of them do, but not everyone.

I'm sure he's the same person, or has the same address, as the pair of tickets sold just a few minutes after tickets went on sale as well.

I am sure that the people who work for Ticketmaster/web etc... can purchase tickets early, and put them on GETMEIN or Ebay just to make some money.
