Talking

It hasn't sunk in yet just how good this is. TOO MANY favourites just yet but at the moment I am LOVING 'Between The Clock And The Bed'!

couldn't resist the leak (pre ordered it ages ago) half way through it and it could be the second best manics album (just behind the albatross that is the holy bible)

It oozes sincerity and confidence in a way that puts it right up there with their very best work.

And there was me going to get an early night when the word 'leak' caught me eye...ha

Does anyone one know which track James was talking about when he said Sean did the guitar and came up with something better than he ever could or something?

OK, people, please tell me that it's just my bad English and "Futurology" (the song) does NOT contain the lines "we've all killed some ants, all have broken plants." Surely I misheard that! Not that it makes that much more sense, but it really is "we've all killed some and all have broken plans", or something, right? Right!

I'm pretty sure it definitely is "plans" and not "plants."

This is an all time great. One of the greatest albums ever made. I DID NOT know they had it in them. After all these years, I'd began to believe I was familiar with all they could do... but the pure sound and musicianship on display here... It really is WILDLY interesting. The things they've done with sound and just plain old songwrting. The angular chords and the... and... whooh. This truly is a grand masterpiece and it's a good fucking day to be god damn alive.

Does anyone else think the album should continue with the deluxe edition songs? I mean, Empty Motorcade is FUCKING COLOSSAL, and it just flows so well, aftet BListered Mirror. After Mayakovski it's like, who gives a fuck, let this thing last for 70 songs as they threatened.

9/10 maybe 9.5/10
This IS a classic album. A masterpiece. Genius.
For a 12th album it is unreal - It genuinely givese goosebumps.
So many brilliant moments.
Next Jet to Leave Moscow grabbed me and made me almost cry with joy

It's been a mad journey in my life and this band have been the soundtrack to it (I don't care that it's corny I'm writing exactly how I feel)
This album evokes memories with it's 80's vibe but will also be the soundtrack to my future - how very apt
