That would be really great to see them on stage in that kind of costumes. Their "live" look needs a-changing. And taking into account they're sort of going through their beatles phase, I think it may work.

as long as Wire puts his trainers back on with it, he's not built for shoes, looks all wrong. is it not bad enough that I'm still getting over the mental anguish of him wearing wellies three years ago.

Yes, wellies are wrong, but I don't know, may be he just needs the right boots, some kind of classic ones.

Could do. I thought they looked really cool and sharp when they wore suits on the Forever Delayed tour.
But I remember reading a lot of criticism at the time. But that's probably because they were playing on Parkinson and it was a song like There By The Grace Of God AND they were wearing suits and it all just added up to lazy people accusing of them of getting old and boring. They were just an easy target for many back then.
Either way, James looks fucking cool in a suit.
