They actually came up to me and applauded me for my Snow Patrol comments, which ended up in the Daily Mirror. They were all going
"Well, someone's got to say it!" Unfortunately it's always left to me!
Oh fuck off!

Scott Thomas, our agent, found this interview with Christian Bale in America * I obviously haven'št seen it because I haven't got a clue how to get You Tube * anyway,
Oh yeah, that's another one of his 'things' isn't it, the technological ineptitide. It's only YouTube for fucks sake. I really hate that sort of smug self-awareness stuff he does at times.

Either that or he's creating a giant database of his fans, which is actually as equally scary a thought as him being a perv

That was an enjoyable read. I'm glad the band are still buzzing following the success of this year. Let's hope they can carry it on.

That was all looking over someones shoulder and them telling him what to do though he'd have never managed it on his own accord, I think they pretty much controlled whose he looked at as well on the basis of who was at his solo stuff and things.

By the sounds of it everyone was impressed the day he managed to scroll up and down a screen on his own so I think that kinda pitches his technical competency and whenever he says anything about myspace/the internet it generally does suggest a deep lack on comprehension of how it works.

The database possibly isn't a million miles off though as it was always said he used to have files on people who did fanzines and sent him stuff and things, plus hes admitted before he uses signings and things as a chance to analyse their fanbase and what they are wearing etc these days.

I'm not buying the technophobe pose for a minute - especially after him knowing that a download link was broken

I do love the idea of them interviewing Geddy and Alex, but Neil is the one to give Nicky a run for his money - that's the meeting I'd like to see a report of . Nicky and Neil debate the influence of Ayn Rand!

i never expected nicky to be so self-appreciating, 'so and so band loves us', I've really had enough about nicky talking aout kasabian, that snow patrol comment has thrown me over the edge.............

Fair enough but he doesn't need to constantly go on about it like he's writing his own character. It's just irritating.

It'd be like someone who's reknowned for being miserable and unhappy saying something like "But I didn't go to the pub because I'm so miserable" and genuinely meaning it. It's embarassingly self-aware.

It reminds me of ditzy people who completely play up on the fact they're ditzy and think it's some sort of endearing quality when actually it's highly annoying and most likely an act anyway.
