Could be, but weren't the 6 originals on Sony/Columbia, so surely the 6 re-issues shudda had the same track listing for all. I've often wondered about that!

I personally thought that was perhaps down to Sony being strategic by leaving Motown Junk off the Slash 'N' Burn re-issue more than anything else, and saving it for something more worthwhile, such as the greatest hits. I don't remember what else, if anything, was left off though.

I may be wrong of course, but I would have thought that the rights to Suicide Alley and Tennessee (I Get Low) would've been sold to Sony back in the day hence their b-side appearances. But who knows. Logic says Tennessee (I Get Low) should be on the new GATS issue. Just seems a bit odd and incomplete.

(goddamn, I bet its up in S&V... a few meagerly posts to go - better start spamming like hell!)
Yes it's a remix from CD2 of The Everlasting. I personally quite like it.

Sweet. Thanks. I was gonna pass on SATT since I already have the Japanese release to begin with but the stuff on the second disc makes it worth it.

I pre-ordered Generation Terrorists and GATS. Using my 400 points that I had from previous orders it came to about $60 total after shipping. I figure maybe I'll do 2 a month til I have them all rather than getting them all at the same time. Thankfully they pushed some of them back.

Where the fuck is the 'God Save The Manics' EP in all this?

Let me guess - tacked onto the end of 'LT'?

That would have made everything perfect. It really wasn't much to ask, but I suppose we should be grateful for what they're offering. (Unless they haven't even bothered to remaster them, in which case that's some expensive cardboard we're paying for.)
yea but i guess as these are Jap releases they've kept disc 1 as they were released originally there. Plus if they included LT songs it would hurt sales of that. But i guess you know this already. I agree with you about the live tracks..i'd prefer proper live albums to be honest instead of bits and pieces scattered about

So basically, people are getting this because its the first CD-outing for a lot of b-sides... right? ..right?

I mean I've always wanted a digital version of the Felix Da Housecat mix of Let Robeson Sing

Theres no way these will be remasters without any kind of suitable fanfare. It'll be the same old cardboard mix of GT.

Maybe you could change the ruling to commercially available in the UK?
