I thought we could perhaps just kill Collins then realised that if that happened his album sales would soar anyway so that would defeat the object.
Bloody stupid git. He's crap. And he's a knobhead.

Jackie Collins, it seems that Phill Collins is not a favourite of Yours...

Hmm. I guess it's a bit irrational really but I have just always, always hated the man. This has just sealed it even more.

Shit! I hadn't noticed that! Doh! I've only just changed it as well!
Oh well - I was thinking more existential question time than a certain balding tosser.

i've just remembered that it was Phil Collins (with Philip Bailey) that stopped Frankie Goes To Hollywood making it four number ones with their first four singles.
good causes and all that aside, yes, he is an eternal cunt, and so should be defeated in the charts. i would imagine most of you can handle yourselves pretty well, can't gangs of you hang out in HMV and Tower stores and "ensure" people buy the correct CD this week?

I hope the Manics make it to #1 but why's everyone appear to hate Phil Collins with passion? Made some really good songs.
It seems that PFAYM is beating Collins on most online stores as far as I can see.

theres an article in the nme this week about the state of indie and rock in the singles chart..worth having a look..mentions Nicky. I do think in this case because the single and album release are back to back..people have just gone for the album instead. Older audience and all that...

for all his charity work & donations, he's a massive Tory. he probably wouldn't have to donate so much of his (admittedly fairly earned) fortunes if he changed his voting patterns. he stopped Frankie Goes To Hollywood making history with fucking "Easy Lover". he "retired" quite a few years ago - if you want to stop making music and make such a fuss about the fact, then fuck off and stay away from studios. Eminem, please note. more people buying his records = more likely he gets asked to headline Glasto. the world only ever really needs one short drummer at a time. we have Sean Moore thanks, get off the stage Phil.

Phil Collins has sold something like 150 million records. And people say the modern charts are bad.

The guy who poisoned the whole world with this videoclip:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nl2vF...eature=related doesn't deserve to beat Manics!
