No you're not, I hate "Lifeblood" too. Worse thing Manics ever did. Thank god they re-dressed the balance.

I used to hate it. When it came out I totally lost interest in them because I thought it was so shit, and missed the PF tour... Whichl later, made me hate Lifeblood more! Haha.

Now after I can honestly say I like four songs on it - Empty Souls, Solitude Sometimes Is, Glasnost & 1985. But I'll never love it as an album.

It's definately in my top 4 Manics albums. I love that it is an understated peice of work. It works beautifully as an album. I think it's the kind of album you can listen to on a sunday afternoon with a glass of wine and really lose yourself in the songs. Sure, it's an acquired taste but it is one I'll continue to savour. Glasnost, Emily, I live To Fall Asleep and A Song For Departure are beautiful songs.

Sorry for asking but I've not seen anything about this until I just got an email from the Manics site and it mentioned it showing a pic of Nicky and James - so is this different to that gig that was filmed in Blackwood and interview bits with Jo Whiley?

It's a full 60 minute performance film with documentary bits that give a flavour of the Blackwood homecoming gig. It features a completely new interview with James and Nicky, talking about all sorts - from the early days of the band in Blackwood, to record shopping in Cardiff, what Lady Gaga would do with a balaclava and the next move for the band... So quite a lot more than was shown on the Red Button!

It's just one album that doesn't sit well with me. The rest I don't have a problem with at all.

Unfortunately my parents Sky HD box is on the blink and won't record anything. I shall have to make do with the iplayer.

Mmm 3D telly... the next video must be in 3D!
