So… according to the new Manics newsletter email… " 'Walk Me To The Bridge' is released on June 29th. "

Wonder if that means we might still get a physical release and B-sides… ?

Nope, iTunes and Amazon have the albums listed but with WMTTB as the only track available to purchase as of now, I imagine it's the same elsewhere

It most likely just means that if the official release date was today they wouldn't be able to get the song on any playlists after next week.

It's missing a verse I think. It's a good song, very catchy, lots of lovely little touches musically. I've not seen the video as of yet.

The fact the single is out at end of June now makes me think they've announced it far too early.

But the e-mail also says if you pre-order the album on iTunes you can get an instant download of Walk Me To The Bridge...except you don't need to pre-order the album to get the song. Surely if there's a physical release they should be offering us pre-orders, seen as you can pre-order the album now. The confusion continues

They did something similar with This is the Day IIRC. It was released digitally, with a b-side no less, then given an official release date of much later to keep it on the radio. And on that release date absolutely nothing was released, physically or digitally.

I am starting to wonder if the manics PR offices are manned by Monkeys. I am sure a few of them are on a sugar rush from all the popcorn.
