you may be pleased to know that the new cassette deck i bought for my sister is now installed, armed and fully operational

i will probably be doing her NT when my copy lands, but in the mean time here's a hint of the first tape done for her new deck

you kids that have never ever made a mix tape have no idea of the fun you are missing. much better than burning a disc or just filling GB after GB on an iThinkiLookCoolWithThisExpensiveShit thing

I'll have to sit out this NT chart race. It's my Mum's brithday this week and I still remember the guilt and awkwardness of buying FD in 2002 when there was a similar clash!
I'm sure the band would understand. And no, buying the CD for her wouldn't work!

try side two

Pet Shop Boys - It's A Sin
Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall
Keith Moon - Solid Gold
Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga - The Lady Is A Tramp
Carole King - (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman
Free - My Brother Jake
Paul Rutherford - I Want Your Love
Body Rockers - I Like The Way
Pulp - Common People
Lady Gaga – Poker Face
T Rex - Get It On
Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody

for the new deck, a mix of her favourites, my favourites, universal favourites and Lady Gaga for her eldest child. My Brother Jake is her top song by Free of all time for some reason.

ahem, yes, will be cramming 90 minutes of NT onto a tape and sending it to her, look how i got that back on topic.

The Carole King one is not one of my faves as it has been played to death over here. Not bad for the rest either.

I still haven't ordered NT.

I could quite happily listen to both sides Starstruck but you would have to omit one. Atomic by Blondie, surely the worst woman vocal EVER!!! she was an awful singer

Debbie Harry was an amazing singer and these days she's still not too bad either!
