I expect them to do it in Reverse order - so Starting with This is the day, and ending with Motown junk.

Opening the 2nd half with ADFL

At Brixton I was in the non-02 queue and the security guard told me to go in the 02 queue because I had a child with me, I pointed out I wasn't on 02 and he said it didn't matter.
Bloody farce!

Guys I'm not sure if this has been covered in this thread or any other thread for that matter but do you think the guys will play as a 3 piece at this gig? After watching them on that Jo Wiley programme last week where they played as a 3 piece and also on that show where they were recorded straight to vinyl in the studio (can't remember the programme name) I kinda got excited about the prospect of them doing this show as a 3 piece and just firing the string/synths from a sampler. I think it would make the gig far more magical if it were just the 3 of them hammering out the singles instead of those other two muppets being involved and diluting proceedings by turning the gig into a watered down karaoke

Cheers, Mark.

Totally agree with that, but I doubt Nicky does. He's got a gigantic show in mind. He keeps mentioning the special visuals and I'm not sure they would ever do such a big show without the others.

I can't think of a single 3 piece band who have gone and filled arenas...thye just don't make enough noise. Even Placebo have about 6 people on stage these days

I'd second it. They used to be decent and intense, but last time I saw them was when they were getting awards for being a great live act but I walked away bored halfway through.

Openers? Gonna go with You Love Us, Faster, Found That Soul... One of the more rockier ones.

They should close with Little baby Nothing, because they should close with the line Culture, Alienation, Boredom, and Despair. I think it would be fitting for what the gig is about.

I thought they were gonna play the singles in order? I guess that would be cool but I'd much prefer them to mix it up to keep things interesting on the night
