How early would you have to queue to get near the front? I'm sure there will the leading figures of the CoR there from 8 that morning but would 4pm give you a good shout for getting at least 4 or 5 rows back? I'm quite a big guy and pretty fit so I could outrun most. Plus I'm handy with my elbows.

I'm more concerned about the chance of going to the toilets actually. I don't really care about eating or drinking when I'm attending a gig, because gigs terrify me, and my stomach usually shutdown

There was a guy, standing behind me at my last Editors gig, who was quite handy with his elbows, or so he thought. I almost broke his nose.

Awww bless that must be terrible. I remember LiveEarth at Wembley. Queued very early, used the toilet when the gates opened and then stayed near the front for the whole of the very long gig. No toilet plus limited drinks and snacks. I will never do that again.

Im guessing that you are a lady but would you not just do it in something by squatting down? I know its easier for guys but I wouldn't put myself through that discomfort. Worst case scenario I'd just let it flow out - I'm normally that covered by (other peoples) sweat by the end of the gig that it doesn't really matter. (I feel that no one will say hello now in case I've pissed myself!)

I'm a Nicky Wire body double in many ways so I only piss in my own private toilet So at gigs when people throw plastic cups around full of piss I bet they all are wearing "I am proevpete, say hello" t-shirts
