Sony work in weird ways with the Manics as we know, I thought maybe they would have deleted FD as it's sold over 300,000 copies easily so like people say, to sell this NT compilation stop selling the FD album. Ah well. I'm sure it'll sell well over time, I hope.

It's a good position. The only negative is that they've had to do all their own promotion multiple times on a daily basis in a quite undignified and desperate way whereas bands like Kasbian get Sony to do all the work for them.
Still, Sting went in at 27 last week with his latest compilation and that's received a lot more backing from its record company. |

for a normal album yes. Not for this..it depends how it does in it's second week..if it doesnt drop much then fine but if it bombs 20 places then that isnt really good enough

I only got my copy of the deluxe edition today. It's very nice, even if I don't like the vacant looking blond girl. It's a bit hey everyone, remember we had a big hit in 2007. It was shit, but we were, you know, big in the noughties too! Just thought we would remind you all! Meh. The photos are great though. Not seen some of them before. Nice to have all the videos again. My copy of FD is starting to die of old age. |
