Amazing! I was so overjoyed when this song came out to play live! It’s always been a special one for me! You’ve cheered me right up sharing that video!

A chatty James performing at Brickstock six years ago - has been on Youtube that long but I hadn't stumbled across it in that time. Some beautiful acoustic guitar/violin reinterpretations of Manics classics that you should spend an hour or so listening to if you hadn't before!

One of the things I really like about MSP is that they get the concept of 'fans gigs'.

There are a few bands I follow who basically do the same setlist wherever they happen to turn up, be it a concert hall, stadium or festival. The same stuff in the same order.

When you see MSP at a small do, or Brixton or wherever - they get it - you're not playing to Radio 6.

Watching Sonatine at the moment which has a scene which the video for That's No Way To Tell a Lie is based on.

I had no idea there was a video for the XFM Winter Wonderland show - the band did sound absolutely at their peak during the SATT era.

And for those in to that sort of thing it does feature James messing up a bit of Motorcycle Emptiness as he's too busy unbuttoning his shirt...
