They could do with updating their "Photos" section on the front page of their website, given under "Latest Photos" it has this teaser for a track which came out in 2014:

Not really a random thought, a random question, how are the JFPL and Rewind The Film records, sound wise, are they worth getting?

As in the vinyl or the music generally?

Both great art-Manics albums, similar to Lifeblood (RTF) or a sort of modern Holy Bible (JFPL)

The vinyl... oddly mine skips on Facing Page Top Left and its the only record in my collection that does this and I wonder if others do.

Thanks for your response, jusy the vinyl, I know the albums are great, i started collecting vinyls not too long ago, so just wanted to know what people thought of them 2, as they're next on my list.

The ones i'm missing are, KYE, Lifeblood, The Great Western, JFPL & RTF. I've seen people say KYE is awful on vinyl and Lifeblood isn't too good, so hopefully they re-release them.

I think they all sound alright: the ones that piss me off are the double vinyls like TIMT, I’d rather have it on one disc than have to change every 3 songs

Last week was fun so from now on I’ve decided to only post positive things.

A week spent reading the Pop Justice forum taught me it’s better to enjoy things. Who knew? And then Poppy’s new single gave me an epiphany.

https://youtu.be/CT40JmmtnY4

It’ll take a while to adapt so for now here are some random thoughts of other people on other forums that I’ve rounded up from the last seven days.

“I really love Postcards!”

“I think Gold Against The Soul is brilliant”

“Lifeblood is second only to Everything Must Go in my rankings.”

“Lifeblood's one of my favourites too.”

“Resistance Is Futile, for me, is one of their finest albums.”

“Don't Let The Night Divide Us is hands down one of the best tracks. It's brutally catchy. “

“The Secret He Had Missed is amazing. I love the ABBA piano bits!”

During a brief moment of madness when I bought stuff on vinyl, I had JFPL and it didn't skip. Sounded pretty good, but I'm a long way from an audiophile so can't promise much if you are.

Things I'd like to see that won't happen...

30th anniversary Generation Terrorists three piece tour in small venues, ideally similar to the ones they played in 1992. (I'll allow one extra guitarist, but they can only contribute as much musically as Richey did in 92).

I feel like it would be incredibly stressful to get tickets, but totally worth it.

30th anniversary Generation Terrorists reissue with that third disc and DVD in so people with normal incomes can actually own the fucking thing.

10 years of inflation has made the £80(?) cost of that sound less extreme than it was. That's only 4 copies of TUVL!

Many of us feel your pain, my dvd is basically a right-off and cd3 is slightly cracked. They were fine when I received them but over time the holders have cracked the discs. Truly awful packaging.
