some help needed for a best man - Forever Delayed

Hello all. Was just wondering how I could get in touch with someone to try and get some wedding messages sent by the band for my mate's wedding in July. He would be so made up if I could produce something from the band and it would then take the focus away from my shoddy speech! Any help gratefully appreciated!

Good luck with it. Don't get your hopes up too much though, the Manics management are notoriously hard to get favours, or, well, anything out of, and though you've got a couple of months, in terms of how slow moving HoN can be, it might be a bit late. Are you going to any of the tour dates, because I think you'd have a lot better chance if you actually approached the band after a gig and got them to sign a card or something. You might not have chance to get a personalised message if it's busy, but at it's better than nothing. If you're not going to any of the gigs, there will be people on here who are going to more than one, so maybe you could ask one of them to try and do it for you.

I reckon chat to them after a gig or if you're going backstage or anything. Kinda difficult via hall or nothing.

A couple emailed loads of Bands including the Manics and they sent them a signed photo with 'all the best' on it, it was around 2008?? - it got printed in The Sun too!

^ yeah, I think this would be the best idea. If you're not going to the tour, I'm sure there'll be people on here who are going who might be able to see them afterwards and would be willing to sort something out for you.

My mate went to school and played football with the footballer Nicky Forster....they'd lost touch, but I sent a wedding to Nicky at Reading FC asking if he'd sign it and send it back to me...it came back 2 days later with the brilliant line "To Max, I hope your touch has improved since I last saw you, for your wife's sake!"

I never expected it to come off and was so chuffed, it also got me a big laugh on the day.

So do try and send something to the Manics, you never know.
