SO Glad about this. Always seemed so wrong that there wasnt a Cardiff gig. Just have to persuade my fella now, he always thinks Welsh gigs are a bit of a let down I dont so could take some talking around!!! Ha !

Just done a quick search for a travelodge room for that Friday night. Both city centre ones have no availability....

One Direction are playing at the Stadium the day after, so it would definitely be a good idea to sort accommodation sooner rather than later!

Tempted to stay up and get the first train back if I can get a ticket. The Urban Tap House should cover me until 2am if I can get in. It's just those other four hours.

Hotels are all really busy.

I was planning to book a trip to Cardiff with my boyfriend in March so I've just gone ahead and booked the hotel in Cardiff for June instead. Even if I don't manage to get tickets, I'll still only be doing the holiday I was planning to do anyway.

Well, I guess I'm spending a night in Newport at least.

When I booked just now, there were rooms in the Travelodge for £30 saver advance, or £43 for the cancelable option.

I haven't been on this forum in forever. I've only gotten to see the Manics once, back in 2009, when they were touring the US, since, well, I live in the US and didn't discover them until I met my husband (JDManic) back in 2003.

I turn 40 this summer, I want to do something big and memorable, I've got a passport burning a hole in my pocket, and then I hear THIS. So now seems a good time to reintroduce myself into these realms, and hopefully we'll be seeing some of you in June! Sounds like I better book a hotel room now. And if anyone has any advice for the Yanks, please pass it along.

What's sensible? just booked something for 60.

Had horrendous experiences with noise in travelodges in cardiff

Where's £60? And it is in Upper Cwm Taff?
