That was the stuff I wanted to hear.

But yes, what we'll get, is the usual stuff like You Stole The Sun...; Kevin Carter; La Tristesse; Your Love Alone...; and possibly Donkeys (given that Nicky mentioned it recently as his favourite Richey lyric or something).

La Tristesse took a leave of absence, but did return during the April tour.

Wonder if we'll get Motown Junk, given James has indicated it might be dropped. Think it might be a good fit for this tour though, so maybe this'll be the last time we hear it.

Speaking of, I actually wouldn't mind if they announce this is the last time we'll hear Bible tracks live. It's hovered over them for far too long, and maybe this tour will allow them and us to get it out of our systems.

James feels awkward singing an 'angry youth' song now that he's 45 or whatever. Also cos it's a bit shit?

I'd be fine with not hearing ones like Design, You Stole the Sun, Tsunami and Tolerate live ever again tbh, I think they've done them to death now and they have SO many much better songs which they could play live.

For the THB gigs, apart from the album I think it should be all Richey-era songs like Judge Yrself, Little Baby Nothing (PLEASE), Comfort Comes, Spectators of Suicide, Motorcycle Emptiness of course, Sleepflower, and PATRICK BATEMAN etc

I don't think they should play any Futurology or Lifeblood (or any non-Richey) songs, I think they should keep these gigs as Richey ones only because it's a whole different side & era of the manics and I think playing newer stuff would ruin the mood a little.

Although I think some ones from JFPL which are obviously all Richey lyrics might be good, still very connected with Richey era manics but also 'post-richey' manics

Would songs like Further Away, Cardiff Afterlife and As Holy As The Soil be asking too much of the band after having to perform The Holy Bible?

Also, I'd like to see them finish on You Love Us.

It would be nice if they celebrated Richey’s words a bit in the second set – maybe even some JFPL songs! – but can imagine it being the hits. Would actually be nice to hear some more of Futurology live too though...

Nicky was just on BBC Radio 6 and mentioned they would play tracks from Futurology and some rarities and B-sides, something for the fans.

It's not often i get property exited about a MSP gig, but this sounds like it could be awesome.

This one's for the freaks!

It's quite a fan-centric gig anyway, playing THB in full. It's not really a gig for the casual, we don't need a greatest hits set!

If James or Sean said it I'd be more excited.

Still, cue people moaning that they didn't do the b-side they wanted and The Girl Who Wanted To Be God isn't a rarity cos they played it in 2005.

Prologue to History - They've been threatening to play this for far too long...
